Aston Martin has finally revealed one of, if not the, best looking four-door cars on the market. The Rapide was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it really is thing of great beauty.

The team at Aston Martin have managed to make their first four-door car look sleek, elegant and sexy, which is no surprise when you gaze lingeringly over any of the Aston Martin range.  There is just enough space for two adults in the rear, and with all four doors opening upwards you will be the coolest parents at the school drop off.   Along with the highly tailored and stunning looking interior the car’s price tag isn’t actually bad at all, if you’ve got £150,000 spare.

This family car provides ample space with a 301-litre boot, and also spoils rear seat passengers with their own heating controls and entertainment along with a Bang & Olufsen sound system too, providing the highest quality of sound available in a car.

Further adding to the Rapide’s appeal is the goodies under the bonnet with the 477bhp, 600Nm version of the 6.0-litre V12 from the DB9 which drives the rear wheels through a six-speed auto gear box.  It’s quite nippy too with the 0-62mph time taking just 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 188mph, and given that the Rapide weighs 1,950kg those numbers are quite impressive.

Although designed in the UK, the Aston Martin Rapide will be built in Graz, Austria and will go on sale early next year.
